Quality Assurance Team Lead
Roles and Responsibilities:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Analyst to join our quality assurance team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications through thorough testing, defect tracking, and collaboration with development teams. This role involves creating and executing test plans, maintaining documentation, and contributing to continuous process improvements.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Software Testing
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Conduct thorough testing to identify bugs, defects, and other issues.
Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Performance Testing
Assist in designing and executing performance testing strategies.
Identify and report performance bottlenecks.
Quality Assurance Framework
Implement and maintain quality assurance processes and standards.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.
Participate in automation code reviews to identify quality-related issues.
Test Automation
Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
Collaborate with developers to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Documentation
Create and maintain detailed documentation of test plans, cases, and results.
Provide clear and concise quality reports for projects.
Collaboration
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements.
Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to provide quality-related input.
Continuous Improvement
Suggest process improvements and implement best practices.
Stay updated on QA tools, trends, and industry standards.
Qualification & Requirements
Mandatory:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Knowledge of software testing methods.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
Detail-oriented with a focus on quality.
Advantageous to have:
Experience with automated testing tools (especially Katalon Studio).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Experience in designing and executing performance testing.
