Roles and Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage network solutions using Palo Alto and Cisco technologies.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Configure and maintain network devices, including firewalls, routers, switches, and load balancers.
Develop and enforce network security policies, ensuring the protection of company data and systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network integration with various IT systems.
Conduct regular network performance assessments and capacity planning.
Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices are implemented.
Provide SysOps support, including system monitoring, automation, and management of cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 network support.
Qualification & Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Senior Network Engineer or similar role.
Extensive knowledge of Palo Alto and Cisco networking technologies.
Strong understanding of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and BGP.
Experience with network security practices, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
Proficiency in network monitoring and management tools.
Experience with SysOps, including system monitoring, automation, and infrastructure management.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Relevant certifications, such as CCNP, PCNSE, or similar, are highly desirable.
